A Peaceful Home, Tracy Krasnasky

Just a few years ago I had little belief in God, even none. My co-worker would talk to me about her beliefs, but even though I listened, I did not hear. Then God began pulling at my mind (through a radio talk show!) and I began going to various churches and reading books on religion, evaluating and comparing, but remaining uninspired, i.e. not in spirit.

Then I was devastated by a personal crisis. God pulled at my heart through my co-worker. “Let's go to the church in Anaheim,” she encouraged me. I was numb, I followed her, and I found a home. God first pulled at my spirit at the local church in Anaheim.

Now I continue to exercise my spirit in fellowship with others who meet with the church in Mission Viejo. It is through my spirit that I know God. It is through His mercy that I also know how to exercise it. Praise the Lord! Romans 8:5-6 says, “For those who are according to the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but those who are according to the spirit, the things of the spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace.”
